1. To navigate to the Know-your-business tool, select the office icon on the left-hand side of the portal.
2. Click the ‘Add New Activity’ button.
3. You will then be asked to provide the information needed for the search. First, enter a file reference. This should be something that uniquely identifies this report for future reference. Then select the jurisdiction that your client’s company is based in.
4. Then, select whether you want to search using the company name or company registration number. You will then be prompted to enter the company name or registration number.
5. Select the company from the list on the right.
6. Select the type of report you need for your client. You can read more about the different types of reports here - What Is Know-Your-Business?
