What is Thirdfort Screening?
Thirdfort screening is a comprehensive check that goes beyond traditional PEPs and Sanctions screening. It includes four core categories:

- Fitness & probity
Understanding Whitelisting
Whitelisting is a feature that allows you to manage and streamline the screening process by dismissing certain matches that have been verified as false positives.
How Whitelisting Works
- You receive an initial PDF report with screening results.
- Within the Thirdfort portal, you can review and manage potential matches.
- Matches can be dismissed if they are determined to be false positives.
- The order of matches in the portal aligns with the PDF report for easier navigation.
Benefits of Whitelisting
- Improves efficiency in the screening process
- Allows focus on genuine risk factors
Using the Whitelisting Feature
- Review the initial screening report in the Thirdfort portal.
- Identify potential false positive matches.
- Use the portal interface to dismiss confirmed false positives.
- Add notes or narratives to explain the reasoning behind dismissals and create and audit trail.
- Re-download the report to see updates reflected, including added notes.
What happens to dismissed results?
Dismissed results are moved to a separate section of your report along with the audit trail. Note - if you have set up ongoing monitoring on the client in question, we will not monitor any dismissed results.
