Please note, the following information is only applicable if you order your checks via thirdfort.com.
All you need to initiate a Lite Screening check is your client's full name, date of birth and their current address. This check includes:
- A PEP and Sanctions search
- A Database address match
For more information on what this entails, please see our corresponding article here: What is the Lite Screening Check?
Initiating a Lite Screening check
Go to the initiation screen by clicking the pink 'Add new activity' button to the right of the Thirdfort dashboard. You should then select 'Lite Screening' check from the left-hand menu. Please your relevant team from the drop-down. Only users from your firm who are in the team selected will be able to view the completed report.
Please enter your client's information and click submit. Please review the information before submitting it to ensure it's correct, as you will not have the opportunity to cancel a Lite Screening check once it has been initiated.
You will have the option to turn on Ongoing Monitoring to get regular updates on the client's PEP and Sanctions status.
You'll also notice the option to share the report with another professional organisation. For more information on this see our corresponding article: Sharing a Thirdfort ID check with another organisation
