What to do if the document uploaded by the client in the app is not sufficient
The Proof of Address document uploaded by your client is for you to review and make the decision on whether it satisfies your firm’s requirements for proof of address. Thirdfort do not verify the contents of the document(s) uploaded under this task. If you are ever unsure how to proceed, please speak to your compliance officer.
Obtaining further Proof of Address from your client
If the uploaded proof of address does not satisfy your requirements and you would like further proof from the client, they can upload an additional document into the app once the report has been completed, or you can send a Proof of Address task on its own.
If your client needs a hand uploading an additional document, please direct them to our customer support hub where they can find the help they need, or chat with our team via the live chat.
Please note that as the report has already been generated and the check completed, the additional document will be available for download at the bottom of the client's activity page on the portal, not in the downloadable PDF report.
