TLDR: Thirdfort Approval Flow allows users to submit checks for internal review and approval directly from reports. Users can escalate checks by selecting a reviewer, reason, and adding comments. Thirdfort Approval Flow allows you to submit a Thirdfort check for internal review and approval directly from your Thirdfort reports.
How do I escalate a check?
From the activity details page, you can request a review of ID, Source of Funds and Lite screening: AML screening & address verification.
At the top of the page, you'll find a section titled "Next steps." Here you can select a reviewer—the person who will be notified to review the report.
You'll also need to select a reason for the review, which is typically the section of the report containing a "consider" or "fail" result. If multiple areas need review, you can select "other." After selecting the area for review you will also be able to add comments to provide context for the review.
Once you are ready, select "Request Review" to submit your request to the approver.

How am I notified to review a report?
If a check has been raised to you for review and approval, you will receive an email notification for the check in question, including a link to the check.
Once you have reviewed the report, you can ‘Mark as approved’, ‘Mark as rejected’, or request more information. If you request more information, the person who sent the report to you to review will be notified via email.

Once they have gathered more information, the user will be able to send the report back to you for further review. You will be notified via email if this happens.
How can I see an audit trail of approvals?
At the bottom of the activity page, you will find an activity log. Here you will see timestamps, user names and comments relating to any escalations.
You can download this log using the ‘Download activity log’ button.
