TLDR: Thirdfort's Original ID check is initiated via the dashboard by adding a new activity, entering a file reference, selecting the check purpose and client type, and providing client details. Options include Enhanced NFC ID check, Ongoing Monitoring, International Address Verification for non-UK clients, and Secure Share for report sharing. After setup, an invite is sent to the client to complete the check via text and email.
Creating an Original ID check
Thirdfort's Original ID check can be initiated quickly and easily from the Thirdfort dashboard:
- Select "Add new activity" from your Thirdfort dashboard.
- Enter a file reference for your check.
- Select the purpose of the check; you can choose from:
- Conveyencing
- Property Services
- Legal Services
- Financial Services
- Other
- Select who the check is for. Depending on your previous selection, you may see some or none of the following options:
- Seller
- Purchaser
- Giftor
- Property other
- Enter your client's information:
- Full name
- Mobile number (including country code)
- Your client's email address
- Property address or reason for the ID check. (Your client will see this when completing their ID check and tasks.)
- Select the option for Original ID check, and any other additional tasks you would like your client to complete. You can also enable Ongoing Monitoring.
- If your client lives outside of the UK, we recommend including International Address Verification with their check.
- If you need to share the completed report with another business, you can select to add Secure Share to the completed report.
- Click 'Send Invite' your client will then receive a text and email directing them to download Thirdfort and complete their check.
