TLDR: Lite screening with AML screening and address verification allows electronic address verification in 16 jurisdictions outside the UK. Supported jurisdictions show a confirmation message, while unsupported ones prompt use of AML screening only. If the feature is disabled by an admin, electronic address verification won't run during checks. This guide applies to Thirdfort clients on the new CDD platform.
Lite Screening and IAV
When using Lite screening: AML screening & address verification, we can electronically verify addresses in 16 jurisdictions outside of the UK.
Available Jurisdictions
If you select a jurisdiction we support, you'll see a confirmation message.
Unavailable Jurisdictions
If you select a country we don't currently support, you'll see a message letting you know.
We recommend using the 'AML screening only' option here.
If this feature has been turned off
Your organisation admin can choose to turn off access to certain features within Thirdfort. If they've done this, you'll see a message when selecting an international address.
In this situation, we won't be able to run an electronic address verification when you initiate the check.
This guide is for Thirdfort Clients using the new CDD platform. This article may not apply if you have not yet been migrated to the new platform or access Thirdfort via a partner or reseller.
