TLDR: Clients complete Digital Right to Rent checks in the Thirdfort app by providing personal details, photographing an eligible passport or passport card, and completing a face scan. Results are then available for review on the Thirdfort platform.
Your client can complete their Digital Right to Rent check in the Thirdfort app
If you request that your client complete Digital Right to Rent Check, they will be required to provide a copy of their passport or passport card and verify their details and identity via the Thirdfort app.
Completing the Digital Right to Rent task
Digital Right to Rent checks can be completed securely in the Thirdfort app. Your client will:
- Confirm they have an eligible document for the Digital Right to Rent route
- Enter their personal details and current residential address
- Take a photo of their passport or passport card's photo page
- Complete a face scan using the front-facing camera on their device
Once your tenant has completed these steps, you can review their results on the Thirdfort platform.
