TLDR: Thirdfort's Electronic Address Match requires at least two high-quality data matches, using Experian's bank-grade service to comply with legal standards. It checks primary sources like the electoral roll and credit accounts, and secondary sources such as telephone directories. High-risk warnings include mortality databases and postal redirect alerts. Additional risk indicators found are reported under "Further Information" in the address match report.
Electronic Address Match
For the address match to be done successfully, we require a minimum of two matches, and those matches must be of sufficient data quality.
We partner with Experian to offer this service, allowing us to use their 'bank-grade' offering for the settings and match criteria of our search. This ensures that our product is compliant with relevant industry legal regulations and guidance.
Thirdforts address match reviews both primary and secondary sources when attempting to match your client to the address provided:

Secondary Data Sources:

- Experian CAPS data (credit application)
High Risk Warnings:
- Mortality databases
- Royal Mail NCOA Alert Data (Postal redirect service)
- Accommodation Address File (mail drop or non-residential address)
- Current Address Forward Link Alert (non-current residential address)
- Age verification
Further Information
We search these databases with the primary aim of locating records of the individual being registered to the address they have provided us with. However, these databases contain a myriad of data, and if we find anything else that could be an indicator of risk, we will let you know under the Further Information section of the address match report.
You can read more about all the possible flags that come under this section here: Further Information flags.
