TLDR: The Lite Screening check is an instant desktop report requiring no client input, including Database Address Matching, PEP and sanction screening, and a source breakdown. It verifies client details against the Experian database and provides real-time sanction status, with options for ongoing monitoring and whitelisting. A detailed source list is included in the report.
Lite Screening
The Lite Screening check is a desktop check that requires no input from the client in the app, so you'll get a copy of the report almost instantly after it's been initiated. The Lite Screening report includes:
- Database Address Matching
- PEP and sanction screening
- A breakdown of sources used to complete the search.
Database Address Matching
The Database Address Match takes the details provided during initiation and runs them through the Experian database. We are looking for two or more instances of the name and date of birth being registered against the address, from high-quality sources.
PEP and sanction screening
As part of the Lite Screening check, you'll receive a PEP and Sanctions report. This will be true at the moment the check was created. You'll also be able to carry out enhanced due diligence and monitor the status of this client over time with our Ongoing Monitoring feature, and dismiss hits that aren't relevant using our Whitelisting feature.
Source Breakdown
On the final page of the Lite Screening report, you'll find a breakdown of all the sources used to carry out this search. This can be found on our related page here: What sources do you use for the address match?
