TLDR: Thirdfort's KYB report streamlines verifying key individuals in corporate clients by confirming identity, address, and screening. After receiving a report, you can initiate checks on identified individuals who complete verification via the Thirdfort app, including Enhanced NFC ID checks, facial similarity, AML screening, and address verification. If app use isn't possible, Identity Document Verification and Lite Screening offer alternative AML compliance methods. Verification requirements depend on your compliance team.
Thirdforts KYB check
With Thirdfort’s KYB report, you can shorten your process from identifying key individuals within your client’s business to verifying their identity, address and screening them.
KYB to KYC
Once you have received the result of a report on a corporate client, navigate to the result. From here, you can set up checks on the individuals identified.
Once you have initiated a check on the individuals identified, Thirdfort will invite them to download the Thirdfort app, and complete the required checks. Once their Enhanced NFC ID check is complete, you will receive a full breakdown of their ID document, a facial similarity check, AML screening and an Electronic Address check.
Can I verify my client without them needing to download the app?
Wherever possible, we recommend using our app for ID verification. However, if the person you are trying to verify cannot use an app, or you do not have a phone number for them, you can use our Identity Document Verification check together with the Lite Screening product to comply with your AML requirements. Lite Screening returns instant AML screening and address matching results, and our Identity Document Verification check can authenticate the client's ID document in minutes.
Do I need to verify my client?
Thirdfort cannot advise on who you need to verify. Please refer to your own compliance team or officer for guidance.
