TLDR: Thirdfort Whitelisting allows users to manage screening results by dismissing verified false positives through the portal. Users review matches, dismiss incorrect ones with detailed notes for compliance, and then re-download updated reports. Dismissed results move to a separate report section and are excluded from ongoing monitoring.
Thirdfort Screening
Screening is a feature that allows you to manage and streamline the screening process by dismissing certain matches that have been verified as false positives.
Reviewing Results
Upon receiving an initial PDF report with your screening results, you can access the Thirdfort portal to review and manage any potential matches. The portal provides the functionality to dismiss matches that are determined to be false positives, and for easier navigation, the order in which the matches are presented directly aligns with the initial PDF report.
How do I review results?
After reviewing the initial screening report within the Thirdfort portal, identify any potential false positive matches and use the portal's interface to dismiss those that are confirmed to be incorrect. It is crucial to add detailed notes or narratives to explain the reasoning behind each dismissal, thereby creating a clear audit trail for compliance and record-keeping purposes.
After completing these actions, re-download the report to ensure all updates, including the dismissal of false positives and the added explanatory notes, are correctly reflected.
What happens to dismissed results?
Dismissed results are moved to a separate section of your report along with the audit trail.
If you have set up ongoing monitoring on the client in question, we will not monitor any dismissed results.
