Original ID checks accept various documents depending on the country; UK clients can use passports, driver's licences, or national identity cards. Supported ID
The type of ID that your client can use to complete a Thirdfort ID check varies by the type of check initiated.
Enhanced NFC ID
If you refer your client for an Enhanced NFC ID check, we can only accept an in-date passport containing a biometric chip.
Original ID Check
If your client is completing an original ID check, the documents we can accept will vary by the issuing country. For UK-based clients, we can accept in date:
- Passports
- Driver's licences
- National identity cards
