App-based Checks
These verifications require your clients to download the Thirdfort app and submit their information for your review
Enhanced NFC ID Check
Our premium ID verification product uses the biometric chip in a client's passport to verify their document and identity. Conforming with HM Land Registry’s Digital ID Standard (Safe Harbour), our comprehensive ID verification solution uses the most sophisticated Near-Field Communication (NFC) powered anti-fraud technology available today. There are other providers that can read NFC chip data, however, our product takes things much further with the ability to verify the chip’s digital signature and signing key with the issuing government body in real-time, as required by HM Land Registry. This check can be initiated alongside our Source of Funds questionnaire and/or the Open Banking task. Learn more about the Enhanced NFC ID Check here.
Original ID Check
Our Original ID verification product uses an image of a client's ID document to authenticate the text and security features on the document. Additionally, we perform a facial similarity check on the client. This check can also be initiated alongside our Source of Funds questionnaire and/or the Open Banking task. Source of Funds
Our Source of Funds product consists of two parts. You can request both parts together or choose just one section. The Source of Funds questionnaire collects all the necessary information about the origin of a client's funds and presents it in an easy-to-understand report, with suggested follow-up actions to assist with your review.
The second part of this product is the Open Banking task*. Here, clients have the option to connect their online banking service to the app so that we can extract a read-only statement of their transactions from the past 6 months. The top 20 ingoing and outgoing transactions are highlighted for your convenience.
- Alternatively, clients can also upload their statements as PDFs or images if they prefer.
Desktop checks
These verifications can be conducted within the Thirdfort portal without requiring any input from your clients.
Lite Screening
Our Lite Screening check includes an electronic address match and a Screening search. Simply input your client's name, address, and date of birth into our portal, and receive instant results. Learn more about our Lite Screening check here.
Identity Document Verification
This product complements our Lite Screening check by verifying the authenticity of your client's document without requiring their input in the app. Just upload a photograph or scanned copy of the document into our portal, and we'll verify it and provide you with the results within minutes. Know Your Business
Thirdfort’s know-your-business (KYB) tool helps you build a complete picture of your client and the nature of their business. We combine multiple best-in-class suppliers to produce one, easy to interpret report for you and your team. Dun & Bradstreet is our supplier for company summary reports and UBO reports for companies globally. For AML screening we use ComplyAdvantage. Using these providers gives you coverage in more than 200 jurisdictions globally.
