Sufficient Proof of Address
The Proof of Address document uploaded by your client is for you to review and make the decision on whether it satisfies your firm’s requirements for proof of address.
Thirdfort does not verify the contents of the documents uploaded under the Proof of Address task. If you are ever unsure how to proceed, please speak to your compliance officer.
How can I obtain further proof from my client?
If the uploaded proof of address document does not satisfy your requirements and you would like further proof from the client, they can upload an additional document into the app once the report has been completed, or you can send a Proof of Address task on its own.
If your client uploads an additional document via the option for 'Optional Document Upload' after completing their check this will not be available via the report. Instead this can be downloaded directly from your clients check on the Thirdfort portal.
