TLDR: After a screening check completes, alerts about potential matches appear for review within the Thirdfort platform, which creates an audit trail. Matches are categorised by relevance and marked as 'Unreviewed' until assessed. Users can view details, mark matches as 'Match' or 'Does not match' with reasons and notes, and perform bulk actions. This guide applies to Thirdfort Clients using the new CDD platform.
How to review potential screening matches
After a check completes, you'll receive an alert about any screening matches discovered. Review these matches according to your firm's AML policies.
You can review screening matches directly within the Thirdfort platform, which automatically creates an audit trail for future reference by you or auditors. To review matches, navigate to the activity details page, find the 'Screenings' section, and click 'Review screening'.
Reviewing Screenings
We’ll display results categorised by high, medium and low relevance. Any match not yet reviewed will be marked as 'Unreviewed.' By clicking ‘View details’, you can find more information about the match.
You can review each match and record your review by confirming whether a potential match is a match or does not match your client. You will be prompted to provide a reason for this, and you can also add notes. The status of the match will then update.
You can review potential matches in bulk. You can do this by clicking ‘Select all’ when reviewing potential matches. Once selected, click 'Match' or 'Does not match' to review the matches in bulk.
