Being invited to Thirdfort via text
When setting up your client's app-based Thirdfort check, your client will receive a text message invite to Thirdfort. This text includes the following information for your client:
- Their name
- The name of the firm requesting their check
- The details of the transaction the check relates to
- A link and instructions to download the Thirdfort app
My client has not received the invite message
When an app-based check is set up, we immediately send your client the invite via text message. Depending on your client's network connection or locality, these messages can sometimes arrive delayed from when they were originally intended.
We rely on the client's mobile network to deliver the text message to our app users. Poor signal or certain international mobile networks may cause trouble receiving the message.
Is the link specific to my client?
The link in the text to download Thirdfort is not specific to your client. They can download Thirdfort from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store directly at any time without using the link. This means even if they delete or lose their invite text, they can still access their Thirdfort check.
