TLDR: A screening match is auto-resolved as false when the matched record's registered country doesn't match the check subject's. Matches are identified as Auto resolved in the Last Resolved or Reviewed By column, with an explanation. You can review and change the result.
A KYB screening match is auto-resolved when it fails a set check, without anyone reviewing it.
When you open the False tab, you may find matches that are already resolved as false without anyone having reviewed them. This is auto-resolution: the record matched against the company name, but was automatically resolved as false based on other parameters.
What triggers auto-resolution?
Currently, the only parameter used for auto-resolution in KYB is a registered country mismatch. If the matched record isn't registered in the same country as the subject of the check, it's auto-resolved as false.
How do I identify an auto-resolved match?
You can identify these matches in the Last Resolved/Reviewed By column. The cell on that row shows Auto resolved, along with an explanation of why the match was resolved.
Can I change an auto-resolved result?
Yes, if you disagree with an auto-resolved result, you can review it and change it yourself.
