Physical vs Thirdfort verification
When a client physically shows you their ID document, we recommend that you still use Thirdfort to verify the ID. Thirdforts technology is adept at detecting inconsistencies in a document and ensuring its legitimacy
Completing a Thirdfort check in person
Should your client wish to complete their Thirdfort check in person with you, we recommend that they do this using their own device rather than a shared office device. Regardless of the device used, your client will need access to the mobile number the check was set up to, which is to allow them to receive their verification code and sign in to Thirdfort.
To support them in completing a check in person, we recommend advising them of all the documentation they will be required to provide in advance of them attending the office, and to bring this with them.
To avoid multiple trips, ensure that you have access to the completed report before your client leaves. Your client can also then uninstall Thirdfort and delete their data from the app, should they wish to.
