TLDR: The CCJ & Insolvency check automatically runs during identity verification or Lite Screening with address verification if it is enabled, the client's UK residential address is used, and they haven't undergone International Address Verification. The section won't appear if conditions aren't met, and AML Screening-only checks exclude CCJ & Insolvency. This guide applies to Thirdfort clients on the new CDD platform.
Initiating a CCJ & Insolvency check in CDD
The CCJ & Insolvency check runs automatically as part of any identity verification (Enhanced NFC ID or Original ID) or Lite Screening with address verification, provided all of the following are true:
- CCJ & Insolvency checks are enabled for your organisation
- Your client's residential address is in the United Kingdom
- Your client has not been routed through International Address Verification (IAV)
If any of those conditions aren't met, the section won't appear on the report. AML Screening-only checks do not include CCJ & Insolvency.
