TLDR: The task manager in Thirdfort's new CDD platform lets users view and manage assigned tasks across five tabs: Needs Action, Monitoring, My Checks, Overdue, My Checks – In Progress, and All Live. It shows task details like subject, status, assignee, due date, and risk indicators. Tasks are removed once approved or cancelled, except rejected ones. A team filter is available for cross-team users. Access requires Compliance or Enterprise packages.
The task manager is where you view and manage all Tasks assigned to you or your team.
Task manager tabs
The task manager has five tabs. Each provides a different view of your checks.
| Tab | What it shows |
| Needs Action | All live checks that require your input, including checks awaiting your review and checks you need to assign to a reviewer. |
| Monitoring | All checks with a new ongoing-monitoring update on a previously completed check. |
| My Checks – Overdue | Live checks you have initiated that have passed their due date. |
| My Checks – In Progress | Live checks you have initiated that are still in progress in the Thirdfort system. |
| All Live | All live checks across the teams you are a member of or oversee. |
Each row in the task manager contains; the subject, a file reference, the check's current activity status, the assignee, the due date, and the risk indicators that triggered the review.
A task will be removed from the task manager when a check has been approved or cancelled. Tasks marked rejected will not be removed as you may want to review these further or request more information from a client or colleague.
A team filter lets users with cross-team visibility narrow the queue to a specific team.
The task manager is available to users on the Compliance and Enterprise packages. If you do not have access, contact your Thirdfort account manager to discuss your package.
