TLDR: Tasks allow you to send a check to a colleague for review if a second opinion or sign-off is needed. You select a reviewer with permission from a dropdown, add context, and send the task. Reviewers can reassign checks if necessary. This feature is available only to compliance and enterprise package clients on the CDD Platform. Contact your account manager for package changes.
Tasks let you send a check to a colleague for review.
If a check requires a second opinion or sign-off from someone with the appropriate authority, you can send it for review using Tasks. The reviewer is notified and can assess the check from their account.
Sending a check for review
- Open the relevant check and go to the check details page.
- Click Request a review.
- Select the reviewer from the dropdown list.
- Add any relevant context or instructions in the details field.
- Click to send. The Task is assigned to the reviewer.
Who can be selected as a reviewer?
The dropdown list shows colleagues in your organisation who have permission to review checks. If the person you need is not listed, contact your account administrator to check their permissions.
Reassigning a check
If you have been assigned a check to review, but believe a colleague should review it instead, you can reassign it. This works in the same way as sending a check to review.
Why can’t I assign reviewers?
This functionality is only available to clients on the compliance and enterprise packages. Speak to your Thirdfort account manager to discuss changing your package.
